Righteous Entertainment TALENT CONTEST RULES
The Palace of Auburn Hill’s Faith & Fun Fest is featuring the Righteous Entertainment Talent Contest! This contest is searching for Hip Hop, Rock, R&B, and Spoke Word lyricists. The lyrics must be positive/uplifting and can contain no promotional references to sex, drugs, alcohol, violence or profanity!
By uploading a video of any kind for entry in the Righteous Entertainment Talent Contest, you are agreeing to all the terms, conditions, and rules of the contest listed below:
1. You are between 13 and 24 years of age and a current resident of the state of Michigan.
2. For all video entries submitted by minors, each entry MUST be accompanied by written consent from a parent(s) and/or legal guardian prior to uploading. Please click the link below to download a parental and/or legal guardian consent form to fax to Righteous Entertainment, LLC at the following:

NO ENTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THIS SIGNED CONSENT FORM FILLED OUT BY A PARENT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.
CONSENT FORMS MUST BE FAXED TO THE ADDRESS PROVIDED BY AUGUST 1, 2008! 3. Each contestant MUST submit 1 video via YouTube. The title of the video must read as follows:
“RighteousEnt.com Talent Contest – Your name”
Ex - RighteousEnt.com Talent Contest – John Smith
Ex2 – RighteousEnt.com Talent Contest – The Band
“Your Name” can be listed as your individual name, or your group name. This will be used to identify you/your team for voting purposes.
You can have up to five people in your video. Each minor shown in the video, however, must be 13 to 17 years old and have a signed consent form by a parent(s) or legal guardian even though you are entering as a duet, a trio or a five person group!
4. Each video should be between two and five minutes in length. You may sing, rap, recite, etc your lyrics. However, the lyrics must be positive/uplifting and can contain no promotional references to sex, drugs, alcohol, violence or profanity!
5. Only one entry per person/group is allowed.
6. All video entries must be uploaded by Friday, August 1, 2008 no later than 11:59 p.m. EST to maximize voting potential. Any video uploaded between August 2-20th runs the risk of not being included in the voting ticket. Voting will commence Wednesday August 6, 2008 and will end Wednesday August 20, 2008.
7. Finalists will be selected from approved entries by Righteous Entertainment,
Jillian Blackwell Agency, Urban Life Promo, RocSpace and other designated judges. The top finalist’s videos for each age group will be posted on the official Righteous Entertainment Web site: www.RighteousEnt.com on a weekly basis to be available for voting.
8. Once the top videos are selected, audience voting will begin to narrow contestants to five in each age group. Voting will commence from August 6th – 20th ending at 11:59 pm.
9. The top 5 selected adults and the top 5 teen winners and their parent(s) and/or legal guardian will be contacted by phone/mail/e-mail and given event details.
10. Winners will be announced at the Faith & Fun Fest located at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday, August 29th, 2008. Winners for the teen and adult categories will be presented on stage and their videos played on the JumboTron to the audience in attendance. A grand prize winner for each category will also be announced.
