"The hearts deceitfully wicked who is knowing it/times like this got me feeling like a chauvinist. I wanna knock off a brizzle, sizin' her potential/Now you know that's completely inappropriate. I wanna slam back a brew/Flesh rise a little and my anger make me man handle you. I put my fist through the wall right/Spittin' left field, let's chill cause my vision is off Christ. Forgive me Lord for the words that I utter/I've been influenced by the words of another. Yeah, I used to break rules all day like them crooks up in the mafia/Feelin' uninspired like them books in the Apocrypha. I know you know how I feel man/Just cause I'm expressin' it does that make me less than a real man? So who can save me from this body of death/When I'm demolishin' His promises when I'm in the flesh."
On the creative spin he has a party joint called "ShakeBounceSwitch". Now looking at the title you would think it's a regular ol' club joint telling the girls to shake what their momma gave them. Although it would be a club banger, my man Bumps puts a different spin on it. He's actually telling the females to recognize their self-worth and not give up the goods prematurely. In the chorus he says,
"You can SHAKE...but not right to the floor/You can BOUNCE...back right with the Lord/You can SWITCH from your past life from before/Drop that sin like it's hot to the core. Shake, Bounce, Switch. Shake, Bounce, Switch."
On the delivery tip, I like to hear Bumps spit over hard type tracks that'll make you mean-mug a dude in traffic. On his cut, "Hood Hop", the hard beat and Bump's rhyme flow go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly.
"We shut it down, God speaks thunder sounds/Joe Frazier flow throw blows for a hundred rounds. We just wanna see this generation get redeemed quick/So we hit the booth and kick truth like Bruce Lee flicks. Ain't taking the scenic...route, let His life hit the heavy roads cause we know the truth is in Christ, hey salute in this type...of generation that tells a children that it's cool to be unfaithful to your wife. Or dive into this culture/We won't buy the lie that tells us that we're all are going to die with the vultures. Alive with Jehovah/God is inside of the rhymes, off the wall like childhood posters. Sorry to dump 'em off, God wishes no one is lost/You tootin’ your own horn God is blowin' trumpets off."
The term "keep it 100" is a popular term that says be real with me and don't hold nothing back. It's often said that rappers today are putting on this facade about a lifestyle that they're not living so I guess they're keeping it 25 instead of 100. As a listener and a new fan of Bumps INF, I can definitely say that homeboy is keepin' it extra 100.

I've recently become a huge fan of this emcee named Bumps INF. Since he has free mixtape downloads on his myspace page I've taken the opportunity to download his material and see what the brotha is spittin'. I have to say, I'm quite impressed. Bumps is what I would call a well rounded emcee. The reason I call him well rounded is because he's transparent, has a good delivery in his rhymes, creative with the wordplay, a heart for his listeners and can make party joints (i.e. radio hits) as well as joints for the cats on the block. I'm going to take a couple songs from his mixtape, "The Good News", to show you why he's well rounded in transparency, creativity and delivery. On the cut, "When I'm in the Flesh", he tells you how overcoming his sinful nature is an everyday struggle for him, as it is with every other Christian on this planet.
