Dice Gamble 5-29-2009

When I first heard Dice's cut, "Jesus", I felt she commanded my attention by the rough, hardcore delivery she displayed on the track. She reminded me of a young Queen Pen in her prime for some odd reason. I love her boldness and the energy she gives on each of the tracks I've heard thus far. I love to see what her stage presence is like. I can already imagine an arena full of people rockin' and pumpin' their fist in unison to the "Jesus" joint. Although she's Christian now I would take her for a battle rapper back in the day. Now don't let the roughness fool you because Dice can also flip it on you and get smooth with the lyrical flow like she does on her cut, "Babydoll". On that cut she shares the kind of man that she's standing in faith for so fellas listen up cause she said,

"Not being picky, ready for what you send me/In the past I had a tendency to need him cute/White Tee, gold chain and some Timberland boots/Now I put it in your hands and leave it up to you, God. You know what's best for me/I came into the future you can see/At night when I pray down on my knees/I'll ask and receive and I shall believe."

I'm not playing match maker by any means but to all the single fellas out there who's reading this you should be taking notes (haha). So when Dice rolls through your town on tour or something you can be waitin' for her to come off the stage dressed in your white tee and Timbs. I'm sure she'll appreciate that if she's not already taken (lol). But back to the emcee side of things, make sure you put Dice on your radar because she's something special and like the other females that I highlighted this month, she's sure to have a bright future ahead of her.
